May Allah be your Saviour

I have been staying up late night lately. As a result, I sleep all the day long. I only wake up to perform prayer, and then I will continue my sleep. A bad habit, I’ve changed my life schedule with the bat. (No autograph please, I’m not a Batwoman). My fiancé warn me, no more staying up late night, it’s not good for you health and I agreed.

Enough of gobbledygook (excessive use of word, please don’t mind), I’m sorry dear friends, this might be due to the life switching symptom. Exam will be held at the end of the week and my preparation is half way through. Hopefully I’ll manage to get flying colours for this semester so that if my sisters want to get married I will not be the reason of why my parents reject the application. You know the ‘look at your sister’ thing. I don’t want my parents to judge their future just because I mess up. Marriage is not a bad idea at all. ‘Muslims that married has completed half of their faith, they should just complete the other half’.

It’s true when you said that marriage comes with bigger responsibility, but Allah will not test you with something you can’t bear. InsyaAllah, put your faith together, be patient and have trust in Allah, you will overcome the sorrow. If money is the issue, then, have the words of Allah be your shining armour, have faith in it as Allah never break His promise. Work hard to achieve it and tawakal.

And marry those among you who are single (i.e. a man who has no wife and the woman who has no husband) and (also marry) the Salihun (pious, fit and capable ones) of your (male) slaves and maid-servants (female slaves). If they be poor, Allah will enrich them out of his Bounty. And Allah is All-Sufficient for his creatures' needs, All-Knowing (about the state of the people).

Surah An-Nuur, Verse 32

Anyway, it’s all in your hand. As long as you didn’t commit adultery, do whatever you want as allowed in Islam. Ok, this topic ends here. Let’s talk about my sister. I called her yesterday when she told me that she is busy practicing for her theatre. It was about 12 o’clock in the morning and she is still in the middle of her faculty. UKM is not as small as UIAM, when the bus has stop its services, you have to walk a miles to go back to your room. I’m not happy at all with the situation. She tells me a lot of excuses, and I have to agree and accept it. She is not a kid anymore, I can’t control everything. She know what is right and what is wrong but I told her even though she’s grown up, I will always gives her friendly reminder so that she will not go across the line.

She apologizes and told me not to worry. Her friend will send her back by car. She won’t be walking alone in the dark. One of my roommates complains saying that I am paranoid, I shouldn’t have over react. I don’t think being concern of your sister safety is an ‘over react’ attitude but I just kept silence (I love peace). All I can do is to pray that Allah is taking care of her.

Say: "I seek Refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind. The king of mankind, The Ilâh (God) of mankind, from the evil of the whisperer (Devil who whispers evil In the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering In one's heart after one remembers Allah), Who whispers In the breasts of mankind, Of jinns and men."

Surah An-Naas, Verses 1 to 6

Enough said. May Allah place me and my family in a road of success both in this world and hereafter. May our heart will always miss His blessing and our soul is craving to fight in His course.
